With an executive team that has extensive experience in all facets of operations, finance, sales, marketing, and development, The Hollinger Group is poised to prosper in the senior care industry. Collectively, management has more than 100 years experience in managing, developing and acquiring specialty healthcare and senior care assets. They have successfully developed and operated independent and assisted living facilities, skilled nursing centers, as well as acute medical rehabilitation hospitals, long-term acute care hospitals, and outpatient rehab facilities. Management has successfully developed and operated senior care and healthcare assets in excess of $3 billion.
Brad Hollinger
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Responsible for strategic direction, operational and profitability of The Hollinger Group, Brad is also the founder and CEO of Vibra Healthcare, a hospital company with 21 hospitals operating in nine states. Prior to founding The Hollinger Group, he co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Balanced Care Corporation, a publicly traded senior care company that grew to 87 facilities in 11 states, 51 facilities were De Novo projects. In addition, Brad served as chief development officer and executive vice president of the contract services group of Continental Medical Systems, a NYSE $1.5 billion dollar company.
Mr. Hollinger currently serves on the Board of Directors of Acute Long Term Hospital Association (ALTHA) and was Honorary Chairman of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International of Central Pennsylvania. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) and United Cerebral Palsy (USP). He also serves on the Leadership Council and has been a Big Brother for nine years in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization.
Michael Beaver, President
Mike is responsible for growing The Hollinger Group’s portfolio and the overall performance of the company. He has more than 17 years of experience in the senior housing and healthcare industries. Prior to joining The Hollinger Group, he was Vice President of Regional Operations for Generations Management Services and Vice President of Operations for Balanced Care Corporation.
Paul Kovacs, PhD, Chief Operation Officer
Paul is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the majority of facilities that The Hollinger Group owns and manages. In addition to holding a doctorate in healthcare administration with an emphasis in acute care studies, Paul also received his graduate and undergraduate degrees in healthcare and business administration. He has more than 20 years of healthcare experience with the majority spent operating multi-facility operations. As a previous administrator, Paul operated various long term care facilities including independent, assisted living and nursing facilities some as large as 460-bed and 220-bed JCAHO accredited facilities. Paul's extensive education and hands-on experience in acute, sub-acute and nursing care, positions and prepares him well to also focus and manage the turnaround of distressed healthcare assets. Dr. Kovacs is also licensed as a nursing home administrator in several eastern states, including Pennsylvania.
David Hauck, Chief Financial Officer
Dave is a licensed CPA and has worked as an auditor for KPMG. Prior to joining The Hollinger Group, he served as both controller and field financial support director for various senior care organizations. Dave worked as a commercial loan officer before entering the senior care industry.
Diane Anderson, RN
Vice President, Clinical Services
Diane is a licensed registered nurse who has more than 25 years of experience in acute care, long term care and assisted living industry. She is responsible for the overall clinical and nursing operations for all owned and managed properties for The Hollinger Group. Prior to joining the company, Diane served Balanced Care Corporation as Director of Healthcare Services, Director of Assisted Living Operations and lastly as Regional Director of Operations. Diane also has extensive experience in management following multiple interim assignments in overseeing large, complex properties. She holds licensure in multiple states, including Pennsylvania. Diane’s paramount focus and desire is in monitoring overall patient/resident care for The Hollinger Group.
Edwin Brennan, Director of Human Resources
Ed is responsible for The Hollinger Group’s Human Resources function. His responsibilities include employee relations, employee retention, HR audits, training and group health and workers compensation insurance oversight and review. He has more than 15 years of human resources experience in different health care environments, including acute and long-term care.
William J. Seres
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Bill has over 28 years of sales and marketing experience in the health care industry. He is recognized as a successful sales professional, sales manager/director, and sales trainer. Bill's health care background includes physician sales, hospitals, managed care, skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and long term acute care hospitals. Bill is responsible for sales and marketing initiatives in all of The Hollinger Group's properties and insuring that all census goals are met.
